Scott Schmidt to lead Elauwit's D.C. Web efforts
Elauwit is pleased to announce that Scott Schmidt will lead the company’s Web efforts in Washington, D.C. Launching on November 1, the Washington D.C. Sun Spot will expand Elauwit’s Web footprint along the East Coast, providing news coverage and advertising opportunities for residents of the region. “We are very excited to partner with Scott and his team, and can’t wait to roll out even more regional coverage,” said Tim Ronaldson, Elauwit’s director of digital media.
By harnessing the power of social media, and utilizing years of expertise, Schmidt and his team will provide a different type of news coverage of the Washington, D.C. market, offering an alternative viewpoint on the much-covered Capitol Hill scene.
Schmidt is the current head of Alexander Orange, an online advertising and marketing firm. He has served as a speechwriter for the White House Administration as well as a staff member in both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives. He currently resides in Washington, D.C.
With the planned launch of the Washington D.C. Sun Spot, Elauwit will have Sun Spots in eight metro markets from New York City to South Carolina.
