Elauwit seizes opportunity to give back and engage with Campus Crest simultaneously
"Elauwit has had the privilege of participating in Campus Crest’s annual meeting of community managers for the last several years. As one of only three 'platinum sponsors' in 2013, we were pleased to help underwrite the conference, while also engaging in fruitful interaction with community management from across the country," said Bruce Sanders, Elauwit's Executive Vice President.
In attendance were Sanders; Taylor Jones, president and chief technology officer; Jamie Kellahan, director of construction; Barry Rubens, CEO; Greg Bajan, digital media developer; and Dan McDonough, co-founder. Each of these key leaders had the opportunity to serve Charlotte's needy as Campus Crest dedicated a dinner and charity service for local non-profit, Hope Haven.
Hope Haven is a foundation of recovery, and provides life skills for homeless, chemically dependent adults and families within a supportive residential environment, leading to independence.
In addition to the sponsored dinner and backing a $5,000 donation, Elauwit executives also participated in serving Hope Haven's residents by preparing goody bags stuffed with toiletries and hand-decorated with inspirational quotes and drawings.
The remainder of the three-day event was dedicated to interacting with Campus Crest's hard-working managers, including assistant managers, community managers and maintenance managers for each of its 39 properties across the nation.
Elauwit was able to man an exhibit table and hand out goodies such as coffee mugs and water bottles. This gave our team the opportunity to chat with the managers in attendance in a personal way about their properties, concerns and issues. Learning from the people who run the properties we serve gave us a unique opportunity to engage with our client in a unique way.
"Elauwit provides technology services for almost 30 of Campus Crest’s 39 properties. We absolutely love delivering the kind of construction and service commitments they haven’t been able to find elsewhere in our industry. This event reinvigorated us to do even more to meet the needs and expectations of every Campus Crest resident," said Sanders.
