The Sun Newspapers launch Pet of the Week promotion

There are commonly two things that make consumers stop and pay attention. The first is babies. The second is animals.

So, Elauwit Media is thrilled to announce that we'll be featuring an adorable (aren't they all) pet each and every week in two of our Sun Newspapers.

Working with the Animal Welfare Association of Voorhees, N.J., Elauwit Media is now featuring an adoptable pet of the month in its weekly publication, The Sun Newspaper.

As with most animal shelters, the AWA is a non-profit organization. To counter the costs of the ad space, local businesses are encouraged to sponsor the ad. This gives them advertising space of their own that will run on the outside of the Pet of the Week information. The cost is $60 for a 3.25" x 3" ad.

"We are thrilled to be able to offer the homeless pets in the area a place to show what they are made of. The fact that our local businesses are so willing to step up and help out by sponsoring shows what a wonderful place South Jersey really is," said Arlene Reyes, the account executive responsible for the ad.

The ad will run in the weekly edition of The Voorhees Sun each week. It will also run in another one of Elauwit's South Jersey papers rotating between Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Marlton, Medford, Moorestown, Mt. Laurel, Shamong and Tabernacle.

Residents of these towns and select areas of Central New Jersey receive a Sun Newspaper each week via direct mail. There are no subscriptions and no cost to receive the papers.

If you are in the South Jersey area and would like help sponsor this ad, please contact Reyes at

Otherwise, feel free to check in our online editions of the Voorhees Sun to see which adorable pooch, kitty, or other pet is featured.
