Elauwit to service The Marshall, a one-of-a-kind property featuring a ground floor TargetExpress
In an effort to test the waters of urban living, Target is rolling out a TargetExpress underneath The Marshall which is located in Minneapolis MN.
As young people move into the cities from the suburbs, target seeks to keep their business by providing a mix of groceries, pharmacy items, some home basics and electronics right underneath nearly 1,000 college students. This new venture will be Target’s test pilot for urban mini-stores.
Not only will The Marshall property be located comfortably close to campus and the convenience of all the late night snacks a student could crave with the TargetExpress, but it will also be outfitted with cable TV and high speed internet from Elauwit Networks.
“Elauwit will be serving all the residents at The Marshall with both Internet and video. We are installing state-of-the-art equipment and management systems there. We are always pleased to support the property owner, EdR, as they seek to bring innovations like TargetExpress to their residents through the combination of technology and convenience,” said Bruce Sanders, Elauwit’s Executive Vice President.
The Marshall is a 305 unit building for 990 residents, located a couple blocks from the University of Minnesota campus. It opens to students this fall.
