Chief Brand & Experience Officer
Most memorable Elauwit experience:
There came a day when I was on business in Daytona Beach and came to realize that “sales” isn’t about selling, but about listening and building mutually beneficial relationships.
Favorite movie or TV show:
A tie between the Showtime series Shameless and Ray Donovan. Both feel dreary and are full of perpetual sin, but most often the redeeming qualities of people shine through.
A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole

Most people don't know:
I don’t have much in the way of secrets, but I also don’t talk much about myself. I do find what motivates people to be fascinating, including the way we all justify the things that motivate us.
Bruce works to tell the stories of Elauwit and its great folks, in order to authentically position and market the business. He started at Elauwit overseeing sales efforts and takes pride in the expansion of clients and residents from that time. Today, with brand and experience being a strategic driver of Elauwit, he is responsible for being the champion, protector and motivator of our image, customer experience and client promise.
Bruce practiced law in Virginia Beach and Washington DC after getting his Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he graduated with “best oral advocate” honors. It’s a recognition, he likes to say, that “people just don’t understand.” His legal work centered around commercial and contract law, as well as real estate law.
Being a lawyer probably sits well with only half the people who do it, and Bruce wasn’t in that half. So he moved on to marketing and spent several years leading new product expansion efforts for a Malaysian construction conglomerate, resulting in trade show experience worldwide. Then, before finding his way to Elauwit, he was vice president of national events for a billion-dollar association and created events that regularly drew 25,000 attendees.
An Eagle Scout, Bruce served on the National Committee of the Order of the Arrow, the honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. He has been a local president and national vice president for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America. He spends as much of his free time as possible traveling.
His undergraduate work resulted in a BA in Political Science from Old Dominion University. Bruce currently resides in downtown Charleston, S.C., when not in Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta or Guadalajara.
