Most memorable Elauwit experience:

The move of our Operations Center to West Columbia in March 2016 was a huge undertaking.

Day after day, employees whose paths rarely crossed worked together and helped each other. Employees had a sense of ownership committed to making the new office their own. This genuine camaraderie cannot be planned or created. We could not have planned a more effective team-building exercise.The teamwork was strengthened during the move continues and is a visible part of Elauwit’s culture.

Lora joined Elauwit in March of 2014 to establish human resources services, policies and procedures.  She has 25+ years of diverse human resources management experience that spans start-ups and established organizations. She has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including policy design, compensation, performance management, recruiting, compliance reporting, HRIS implementations, HR workflow development, training and development, and benefits administration.

Her career has included management and consulting positions with large, mid-sized, and small companies in various industries including law, manufacturing/distribution, medical, hazardous waste, government and nuclear energy. Her previous positions include Director of HR at Rogers, Townsend and Thomas, HR Manager at Richland County Government, Senior HR Business Partner at Duke Energy, Director of HR at Bryson Industrial Services, Director of HR at Lexington Extended Care, Plant HR Manager at Sleep Number and Plant HR Manager at Charleston Marine Containers. In her previous positions and at Elauwit, Lora has ensured alignment of HR strategies with business initiatives and goals. Since joining Elauwit, Lora has developed and implemented a hiring process, new hire orientation, a learning and development program and HR policies and procedures.

Lora earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina as a Magna Cum Laude graduate with a 3.9 GPA. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
